Build what businesses actually run.

In 1983, Steve Jobs asked John Sculley, President of PepsiCo:

"Do you want to sell sugar water for the rest of your life, or do you want to come with me and change the world?"

That idea still matters.

At CoreXBiz, we are building for the part of business software most companies ignore: the real operational work that begins after the sale. Not likes. Not clicks. Not shallow tools built around attention. Real systems for real businesses.

CoreXBiz is a modular business operations platform designed for workflow-intensive businesses where every sale sets off a chain of activity — quoting, supplier coordination, production, team execution, customer communication, and financial records. We unify that chain into one connected platform, so businesses can run the work that actually keeps them alive.

We are building the operational backbone, not another layer of software noise.

If you want to work on something ambitious, grounded, and genuinely useful, we would like to hear from you.

Before You Apply

Location & Work Arrangement

We are currently prioritizing candidates in the Vancouver area who can work on-site.

CoreXBiz is at an early stage, and the work involves close collaboration, rapid iteration, and access to sensitive internal systems and code. For that reason, we are not currently treating these as fully remote roles.

This may evolve as the team and platform mature, but for now, in-person collaboration is how we work best.

Open Roles

Engineering & Product

The platform architecture, module structure, and core foundations are already built. This team joins an established codebase to continue building, extending, and strengthening what exists — not starting from scratch.

Senior Laravel Systems Lead

The technical backbone. You take ownership of an established backend architecture — modules, services, data flow, role enforcement, and cross-module integration. The foundations are built. You extend, harden, and scale what exists while ensuring CoreXBiz holds together as one connected platform.

  • Laravel, PHP 8+, module architecture
  • API design, database architecture
  • Auth, middleware, permission systems
  • Experience with multi-tenant or modular SaaS
  • Comfortable inheriting and evolving an existing codebase

Senior Vue Product Engineer

The experience layer. You join an established SPA architecture to build and refine workspace interfaces, role-based views, and the app-like pages that make CoreXBiz feel focused and modern. The component patterns exist — you extend them and raise the bar.

  • Vue 3 Composition API, TypeScript
  • Inertia.js, Tailwind CSS
  • Component architecture, state management
  • Strong design sensibility
  • Comfortable working within established patterns

Full-Stack Product Engineer

The bridge builder. You work across Laravel and Vue to strengthen cross-module connections — Products to Orders, Estimates to Tasks, Accounting to everything. The integration points exist. You deepen them, ship features end-to-end, and care about how the pieces fit.

  • Laravel + Vue full-stack
  • Cross-module integration
  • API consumption and data flow
  • Comfortable inheriting and extending a growing codebase

UI/UX Designer

The clarity maker. You design interfaces that reduce overwhelm and help people focus on their work. CoreXBiz believes software should be calmer, clearer, and built for how people actually think. You make that real.

  • Product design for SaaS / operational tools
  • Figma or equivalent
  • Design systems and component libraries
  • Understanding of cognitive load and accessibility
  • You care about usability more than trends

DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer

The foundation keeper. You manage deployment, server infrastructure, email systems (IMAP), database performance, and platform security. You keep CoreXBiz fast, stable, and reliable.

  • Linux server administration
  • CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation
  • Database management (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
  • Email infrastructure (IMAP, SMTP)
  • Security best practices

Accounting / Payroll Logic Specialist

The compliance bridge. You work at the intersection of code and regulation — building tax calculation logic, payroll compliance, deduction rules, and accounting workflows. You translate what accountants and HR professionals need into working software.

  • Experience with payroll or accounting software development
  • Understanding of tax calculation, deductions, compliance
  • Laravel experience preferred
  • Willingness to work closely with external accountants/HR specialists

Open Roles

Marketing & Content

This team shapes how CoreXBiz is understood, positioned, and discovered. You turn product truth into clear, compelling communication — without inflating what is built or obscuring what is real.

Copywriter

You write landing pages, product copy, FAQ answers, and marketing content that sells without inflating. At CoreXBiz, every feature claim must be grounded in what is actually built. You write with clarity, specificity, and respect for the reader's intelligence.

  • SaaS or B2B product copywriting experience
  • Ability to translate technical features into business value
  • Comfortable working from audit docs and product briefs
  • Strong opinions about language, held with care

Marketing Specialist

You plan and execute the marketing strategy — positioning, campaigns, content calendar, channel selection, and growth. You understand that CoreXBiz is not selling hype. You are marketing a real platform for real businesses, and that requires a different approach.

  • B2B SaaS marketing experience
  • Content marketing, SEO, email marketing
  • Campaign planning and execution
  • Analytics and performance tracking
  • Comfortable in a founding-stage environment

Open Roles

Sales & Business Development

CoreXBiz is built for businesses that do real operational work. Selling it means understanding that world and showing buyers how their specific business gets better with the platform.

Business Development Representative

You are the first conversation. You find businesses that struggle with scattered operations — print shops, fabricators, service companies, custom manufacturers — and show them what connected operations looks like. You do not sell features. You sell clarity, structure, and a better way to run the work behind the sale.

  • B2B sales or business development experience
  • Understanding of operational businesses (manufacturing, services, trades)
  • Consultative selling approach
  • Comfortable with founding-stage pipeline building
  • You listen more than you pitch

Open Roles

Product & Documentation

As CoreXBiz grows, someone needs to own the product direction and someone needs to make sure everything is documented clearly for users, developers, and partners.

Product Manager

You own the roadmap. You talk to users, study the modules, prioritize what gets built next, and make sure engineering, marketing, and sales are aligned. You translate business pain into product decisions and keep the platform moving in one coherent direction.

  • Product management experience in SaaS or B2B software
  • Ability to prioritize across competing module needs
  • Strong communication between technical and non-technical teams
  • Data-informed decision making
  • Comfortable in a founding-stage environment where you shape the process

Technical Writer / Documentation Specialist

You make the complex clear. You maintain module documentation, API references, user guides, audit docs, and brand positioning files. As CoreXBiz grows, documentation becomes the backbone of onboarding, development, and partner relationships.

  • Technical writing experience for software products
  • Ability to read code and translate it into user-facing docs
  • Experience with API documentation, user guides, or knowledge bases
  • Attention to structure, consistency, and accuracy
  • Markdown, Git, and docs-as-code workflows

Open Roles

Quality & Customer Success

CoreXBiz handles payroll, accounting, and operational workflows. Quality is not optional. And when founding users start relying on the platform, someone needs to make sure they succeed.

QA / Testing Engineer

You break things before users do. You test cross-module integration, payroll calculations, accounting logic, role-based access, and every workflow that a business depends on. In a platform where modules connect, one change can ripple — you catch that.

  • Manual and automated testing experience
  • API testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing
  • Experience with Laravel testing tools (PHPUnit, Pest) preferred
  • Vue component testing experience a plus
  • Attention to edge cases, especially in financial and compliance features

Customer Support / Onboarding Specialist

You are the first experience after signup. You help founding users set up their business inside CoreXBiz — configuring roles, products, estimates, and workflows. You turn confusion into confidence and feed real user problems back to the product team.

  • Customer support or onboarding experience in SaaS
  • Ability to explain complex features simply
  • Patience, empathy, and genuine desire to help businesses succeed
  • Comfortable learning a growing platform and adapting quickly
  • Feedback collection and pattern recognition

Open Roles

Funding & Growth

CoreXBiz is building something substantial. Securing funding — especially government grants, innovation programs, and growth capital — helps us build faster without compromising on quality.

Grant Writer / Government Funding Specialist

You find and secure funding opportunities — government grants, innovation programs, SR&ED credits, regional development funds, and other non-dilutive capital. You understand the landscape of business and technology funding, and you turn CoreXBiz's product vision into compelling applications that get funded.

  • Experience with government grants and funding applications
  • Knowledge of SR&ED, IRAP, regional innovation programs, or equivalent
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Ability to translate technical product direction into funding language
  • Understanding of SaaS business models and technology development

Open Roles

Professional Services

Some roles at CoreXBiz require specialized professional expertise. These positions may be full-time, part-time, or consulting arrangements depending on fit and availability.

You build the people side of CoreXBiz — hiring processes, onboarding structure, workplace policies, and team culture. As the team grows from founding stage to a structured organization, you make sure that growth is handled properly and professionally.

  • HR experience in a tech or startup environment
  • Knowledge of BC employment standards and Canadian labor law
  • Recruiting, onboarding, and policy development
  • Compensation and benefits structuring
  • Comfortable building HR processes from the ground up

Accountant

You own the financial operations of CoreXBiz itself — bookkeeping, tax planning, financial reporting, and compliance. You also serve as the domain expert for the Accounting and Payroll modules, validating that the software handles financial logic correctly.

  • CPA designation or equivalent
  • Experience with SaaS or technology company finances
  • Canadian tax compliance (corporate and payroll)
  • Financial reporting and forecasting
  • Willingness to advise on product features alongside business accounting

SaaS-Specialized Lawyer

You handle the legal foundation — terms of service, privacy policy, data processing agreements, SaaS subscription contracts, intellectual property protection, and compliance. You understand the specific legal needs of a SaaS platform that handles business-critical operational data.

  • Experience with SaaS legal agreements and compliance
  • Privacy law (PIPEDA, and familiarity with GDPR is a plus)
  • Intellectual property protection
  • SaaS subscription and licensing structures
  • Contract drafting and review
